Only a few weddings a year
Your wedding, photographed like a magazine editorial.
I am a commercial and magazine photographer. On a few days a year I photograph weddings – with the same standards I bring to a campaign. And so quietly you will hardly notice me.

The approach
A production that doesn’t intrude.
A beautiful wedding day doesn’t need someone constantly directing. I work quietly, with little equipment and an eye trained in advertising: light, fabrics, details, poise.
You celebrate. I make sure the pictures later look the way the day felt – timeless, clear and free of effects that will look dated in five years.
Selected weddings
Every couple. A story of its own.

Sölden, Tyrol — A wedding at 3,000 metres

Baroque & Summer Meadow — Church, garden party, evening light

Church & Lake — From styling to boat ride
What to expect
Styled, natural – or both.
I like both: portraits with crafted light that look straight out of a fashion magazine. And the quiet moments when nobody notices I’m even there.
How much of each, we decide together beforehand. Registry office or church, from the vows to the first dance, I’m there. And if time gets tight on the day itself, we simply do the portraits on a separate day. Relaxed, without watching the clock. If you like, there can be a wedding film too – for that I work with experienced videographers who work just as quietly and discreetly as I do.

From advertising
Behind the camera since 2009 for brands and magazines.
I photograph for companies such as Volkswagen, Siemens, SPAR, Rotax and Steffl, and for magazines such as Forbes, Glamour and Die Macher.

Investment
from € 3,000
I photograph only a few weddings a year – so yours gets my full attention: time for preparation, a careful selection of images and retouching just like for my advertising work.
I answer every enquiry personally, within two days. Happy to talk in German or English.

The photographer
Roland Wimmer
Self-employed since 2009, before that in studios in Linz and Salzburg. Today I work from Vienna and Upper Austria. I have photographed CEOs, opera stars and hotels – and I love putting exactly the same care into the pictures of a wedding day, pictures that last.
